From Whence Help Comes

Life can be scary. The burdens and cares can seem enormous. We need a hand to steady us and to help us during life’s problems.

God will hold your hand and lead you through tough times. “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (Deuteronomy 31:8) God helped Joshua lead Israel and He will help you too, “For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:13) Offload your cares onto the Lord, “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.” (Psalms 55:56)

Are you in need of help? No one can, nor should, face troubling situations alone. “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.” (1 Corinthians 1:3-4) “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16) God can and always has helped His believers . There is always hope in God. Ask God for His help in your prayers today.
